Rose Red and Snow White by Paper-Peaches Rose Red and Snow White by Paper-Peaches
This little origami rose was hand-folded out of a red 2.3cm (7/8 inch) square of paper.

I have been folding origami for over 7 years, and these tiny roses are one of my favourite things to make. This so far is the second smallest I can make. The jar is about 3cm tall, and the cork is sealed.

I've been wearing one of these for about a month now, and it hasn't been broken or scratched. I've gotten lots of compliments and wide eyes after they find out it's origami, and it's my favourite of my origami works so far =)

Rose Red and Snow White by ~Paper-Peachesis an itty bitty tiny origami rose in a vial. The detail and scale of this is stunningly amazing, the artist needed tweezers to get this one right. ( Suggested by Ascleme and Featured by MyntKat )

Awesome idea!
By the way, what is the secret of folding such a small object? I know how to make the same rose from a big square of paper, but can't imagine doing it with a tiny square. Is there any special technique?

I love this so much. I find it funny that I am wearing a beauty and the beast shirt from one of my school's musicals while looking at this. Nice detail at such a small scale. I am in awe.

I know one variation of origami roses that uses a base similar to that of the origami crane, but your rendition looks lifelike and lovely. And combined with the vial, this picture reminds me of Beauty and the Beast. Very nicely done.

Are there instructions somewhere on how to make roses like that and that small? I'd like to try making my own sometime.

I do custom requests, just not during exam periods as I'm still in university (April and November-December). I have done a lot of custom colours in the past. I hope that helps, send me a note if you have any other questions =)

Can you do a tutorial on how to make a rose?
I can't seem to find any good ones. The tutorial doesn't need to be on a rose THIS SMALL that would be too much to ask, but if you could find the time that's be so cool <3
